The Health Information and Quality Authority is the independent Authority which has been established to drive continuous improvement in Ireland’s health and social care services. The Authority was established as part of the Government’s overall Health Service Reform Programme. The Health Information and Quality Authority has published a comprehensive catalogue of health information sources. The catalogue will increase awareness about the purpose and content of these sources and how the data can be accessed. The publication of the catalogue will also identify any gaps or inconsistencies in health information.
