Description:

The Agricultural Census is conducted in June of each year. Data is collected on crop areas, livestock numbers and farm labour. The census data set includes geographical indicators that enable data to be produced for any area that can be defined in terms of electoral ward or by grid reference co-ordinates. This facilitates small area analyses that may be carried out on request, so long as this will not lead to data for individual farms being identified.
