The following report has been published by the Department of Health 'Annual HPV vaccine coverage in England in 2009/2010'. This is a summary of HPV vaccination coverage across England at PCT, SHA and Description national level for the second year of the programme. The figures show that over 84 per cent of girls aged 13-14 have helped protect themselves against cervical cancer by getting all three doses of the HPV vaccine and more than four million doses of the vaccine have been given in the first two years of the programme.
