Over the last 40 years cancer survival rates have more than doubled. Today, one in two people diagnosed with cancer will live for more than 10 years.1 Lives are being transformed. This is thanks to improvements in early diagnosis and treatment, coupled with advances in our understanding of cancer prevention and improving quality of life for people affected by cancer. Without research, these life-changing advances could not happen.
